What’s the distance you’d go to prove that you love me; would you see if the ice holds, would you die for me for no reason at all? With our souls in the shade of the branches words so idle sour the time I say farewell to Prudence and my heart grows cold with the night And I know nothing will change and in this way I’ll gladly waste the days of then, now and to come - tied to a foreign feeling that I still drag along The rain hits hard on the panes, the old devil moon haunts me through the night among the cities alive with music just to remind how we don’t belong In your eyes I’ve seen the world’s end the furthest of colds ever seen I strip myself from all doubt and welcome the dark with my arms out

And the morning arrives early like mornings tend to do I see their eyes as lifeless graveyards with words cold like polished steel Somewhere in the distance the trains are passing by against the canvas of Northern evening that cuts right through the years Come early days of April with all the cruelty it keeps - watch the sun set sadly over the houses while the world is still asleep The birds are slowly circling over the old courtyard, my days slowly slip into the darkness and what chokes my insides is a song from recurring dreams I carry heavy like a stone - a song from recurring nightmares that cut right to the bone Slowly arrives Summer dressed in blue and green and the years they crack like gentle crystal in the grasp of swines that feast If nothing ever changes, how can I face the eyes I meet - when the verses all are written and the piano keys are mute? Do you eyes still fill with water from the poems that you read, is there any sort of sadness when the last of the books are burned? Images of dying start to pave their way And I claim boldly that none of this will darken your skies when the pigs have taken over and the serenade is dead When the songs filled with lifesblood are driven into the sea and the dawn comes sadly dawning on new Europe’s fascist dreams

She falls into my arms with eyes true and pure a heavy sigh brakes the silence in the shelter of my room She is the singer of sad songs and I know the language she speaks - it’s made of steel and concrete walls and wind that cracks the leaves ”If I lay here what happens to me, and can you answer what love replaces the things I feel?” I watched her die a night after night neck deep in tomorrow’s memories makes sorrow wet her eye Little diamonds roll against her fragile cheeks, fall like little nails to a bucket of time that refuses to cease ”If I lay here what will come of me? if you’d carry the keys to my cage, now would you set me free? ”These two-eyed blinking monsters come out every night They paint my skies with coldest grey until no colours remain And one of these endless mornings they will find a way to punch a hole to the vault of heaven and let the spiders rain Then my heart will perish and all my love with it What hope can ever kill these fears inside of me?” I watch her little arms cut shapes to Northern sky like some other boy watched some other girl and others that came before To whom the grass bent with the evenings and young hearts were alive and the days were soft like summer rain for a short lifetime

Broad daylight horrors, remain static and unfulfilled Drawn to tighter and tighter circles, distracted and unfulfilled Flashing memories of bending treetops, spending the pages on the book of your youth The notion of hours amount to nothing - time’s just a turn of the wheel But that is a mere memory of a life you traded for this: never going, yet ever staying - this cradled unconsciousness Vivid images of violent convulsions smear the remains of the warmth in her eyes The flesh that you wanted to be yours turns to chains that forever confine With a voice that pierced the sunset now cast your wishes to broken stone The calm that claimed you deathless now claims your hopes
5.
Did you wish to walk a new into the twilight, Did you wish for a new dawn to break; the discord of progress dead silent - a night to welcome first dreams? The fog is over The words are over The numbers are over The guilt is over To punish to world with a violence calm and relentless in nature These blue eyes reflect the deaths of your buildings, pariahs and conventions So laugh and let lose all you cared for - there’s nothing or no one you’ll miss Behind the fragmented textures of fear and true horror there has to be more than this Than this illusion that life is such - a compressed fire not hot or cold to touch Are you at ease with being nothing - coming and leaving the same? Robbed of your will to start existing - coming and leaving the same? Abandoned gods and lords of good faith piled in heaps of vanished memories or drifting lifeless with our now void morals fiercely clawing to break the blackness in a world sterile and uncaring constructed of glowing chrome walls - reflecting all, but exposing nothing no feelings, no history No memories what you were made of total loss of language in a western wasteland Married to the miseries of each tear your ever shed I can not blame you, I also never cared
6.
Nowhere’s where you came from and mute was the language you claimed It is safer to long for nothing as no sadness darkens your face All this we did for you, the days remain their steady pace I’ll cradle your hopes like vice grips you’ll yearn for nothing again “in my dreams I stood in a field...but now I fear that I’m steadily going insane. Not anxious waiting anymore, but fear to face my possible memories.” Sons and daughters of most unfortunate end neck deep in a sea of poisoned waters witness as everything ceases to re-begin “Motionless and unharmed, her touch like thousand suns, white hot on my sharp body... whispers spreading over the oceans and reflected back again, and we bathed in deathless touches, entwined as there was no one else left.” Fabrications of existing Fabrications of moral ground Fabrications of having any value To no end
7.
To lay beneath you while the years expire To lay beneath your bones All the tears that I brought you, I can not say that I’m sorry Unanswered lust to be held, I can not say that I’m sorry I can not say that I’m sorry for all the ways I did you wrong and the fears that I brought you I can not say that I’m sorry To lay beside you while the waters cease To lay beside your bones Eyes vivid like liquid silver as the heavens slowly end Words flow through the still warm ash as we watch the dark descent, while the stars go dim in your precious sky while the heavens slowly end To be freed from that sterile misery, to be freed from that broken bell To still embrace you when the hours are over To still embrace your bones
